Job summary

Indie Campers in Tromsø is seeking a skilled Campervan Technician to maintain our fleet to the highest standards and ensure seamless customer experiences.

You will inspect vehicles, perform preventive maintenance, handle repairs, manage spare parts, and coordinate with external partners. Fluency in English and Norwegian, a technical diploma, and at least 5 years hands-on experience are required. Weekend availability is needed.

Qualifications

• Certified training in mechanics, mechatronics, or automotive industry.
• At least 5 years of hands-on mechanical and electrical repairs; campervans a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• Fluent in English and Norwegian; able to work in Norway.
• Eligible to work in Norway with valid driver's license; comfortable driving campervans.
• Weekend and public holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Systematically inspect vehicles and diagnose mechanical, electrical, heating, and water systems.
• Maintain and repair campervans and motorhomes; preventive and corrective work.
• Coordinate with external partners and regional teams for interventions.
• Move vehicles to local vendors or depots; keep vehicle information systems updated.
• Prepare vehicles and equipment for customers; assist with reservations, check-ins and check-outs.
• Receive shipments, organize storage, and manage inventory of depot equipment and consumables.
