Job summary

For our customer, a skilled C++ Engineer is sought to join an international medical technology team creating automated test solutions for wireless ultrasound systems. You will develop and maintain tests, work with software and hardware engineers, and contribute to hardware-in-the-loop testing and CI/CD practices.

The role emphasizes modern C++ (C++17+), unit/integration/system testing, and test automation. Norwegian work and residence permit are required, with a November 2026 start and finish

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or STEM (relevant experience may compensate).
• Strong experience with modern C++ development (C++17 or later).
• Experience with software testing (unit, integration, and system testing).
• Experience with build and test automation tools and CI/CD workflows.
• Valid work and residence permit in Norway.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated stress tests and test functionality using modern C++ (C++17+).
• Maintain hardware setups for automated testing and contribute to CI/CD integration and test infrastructure.
• Support troubleshooting, debugging, test-failure analysis, and continuous improvements to product testability.
