Our Client, an international IT/Telecom service provider throughout the world, is currently recruiting a Business Development Executive to join their professional and friendly team.

The job holder is to investigate and promote the development of new or “sleeping” customers and to create opportunities to provide consultancy and proposal of the company’s solutions, to assist in researching company profiles and creating targets; further assist in making contacts to introduce new products or services to potential customers and initiate the introductions necessary for the sale of a product or service. Also, to provide assistance and support to the Director of the sub-division and work on supporting sales inquiries and quotations for the ICT service, supporting Line managers and Sales accounts.

  • Business development – Commit to meet targets and revenues & profits designated by the Division and Company
  • Develop new leads, research, hunt, discover, and create first point of contact for new customers
  • Research, Create & Implement strategy to achieve a relationship with new customers; create & establish a relationship & pass to managers
  • Provide leadership and strategy to enable the acquisition of new customers and logos; Winning new Customers will be a priority and a major commitment, by creating a relationship that can be farmed by the managers
  • Establish and develop new customer targets and strategic outreach to potential customers
  • Fully understand and use the company’s strengths to enable creating a winning sales strategy
  • Visit potential customers designated by the managers & Division, with managers to sell their products and services (if required)
  • Provide customer service & support in order to maintain the existing customer base
  • Good communication with other departments, to facilitate the support of sales promotions
  • Master and detailed planning, development and production of quotations, and sales support
  • Act as Carrier Relations and Sales enablement Manager
  • Take over and manage existing accounts from strategic customers and vendors. Work to provide management through e.g., quotations
  • Make proposal documents and include quotations and directions for sales. Directly engage with strategic customers
  • Co-working and supporting both the Sales colleagues at all levels as well as from other divisions
  • Provide reports to Line manager on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and also whenever requested by Line Manager. Input data & Update system
  • Quotation and Pre-sales activity for Network Sales, including support and response to enquiries
  • Ad hoc requests from your line manager
Requirements
  • Previous experience in leadership in, specifically, Business Development, ICT sales; proven & demonstrable ability to develop new customers
  • Proven previous experience of a good win ratio, especially in ICT Sales
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with Customer’s, Carrier’s and Partner’s management level
  • Ability to produce high-level documentation & presentations and marketing material as well as a quality service to all
  • Excellent knowledge of Security products, especially Next Generation, virtual, FW, MDR, Zero Trust etc
  • Dependable and professional; Cordial and amenable; Excellent knowledge and proficiency for ICT services, especially network, solutions, & security
  • Good technical computer and software skills
  • Ability to delegate responsibilities and take lead on bids Resourceful, inventive and self-confident with proven customer service experience
  • Understanding of the organisational culture of the company
  • Excellent communication skills / Excellent command of English, both written and spoken Japanese language and Japanese cultural understanding an advantage
