We are looking for an experienced and analytical professional who thrives on turning complex data into clear, business-driven solutions. As aBusiness Data AnalystatWilhelmsen Ships Service (WSS), you will work at the intersection ofdata, finance, and technology. You will design and optimizePower BI dashboards, applydata modeling best practices, and exploreAI-driven solutionsto enhance reporting and analytics. This is your chance to combine technical expertise with business acumen in a dynamic, international environment.

Who you will work with

You will report to theHead of Business Performance and Financial Planningand collaborate closely with the Business Performance and Financial Planning team, as well as stakeholders across WSS. You will play a key role in cross-functional projects and initiatives.

What you’ll be doing
  • Develop and maintainPower BI data models, reports, and dashboardsthat deliver actionable insights.
  • Translate business requirements into impactful dashboards and analytics solutions.
  • Promote best practices in Power BI design, data modeling, and performance optimization.
  • Analyze and benchmark financial and operational data to identify trends and support decision-making.
  • Perform ad hoc and strategic analyses to provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Explore opportunities to leverageAI tools and automationto improve reporting and analytics processes.
  • Usebasic coding (e.g., Python)to streamline data processing and enhance reporting workflows.
What you’ll need to succeed
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degreein Business Analytics, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experiencein a data-driven analytical role.
  • Proven expertise inPower BI (data modeling, DAX)andSQL, including building and optimizing complex dashboards.
  • Familiarity withdata warehouse structures(star/snowflake schemas) and calculated measures.
  • Understanding of financial concepts (P&L, balance sheet) is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge ofAI-driven analytics toolsandcoding (e.g., Python)is a plus.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
