We are now looking for a Building Management Systems Engineer to bring technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for sustainable smart building solutions to our service team ensuring systems perform at their very best for clients across Norway.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and fault diagnosis on Building Management Systems (BMS) for HVAC, lighting, energy, and safety applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and communication issues in automation and control networks.
• Perform system upgrades, adjustments, and reprogramming to improve performance and meet client requirements.
• Calibrate and integrate sensors, actuators, and field devices to ensure optimal system operation.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system reliability.
• Maintain accurate service reports, technical documentation, and update records for all interventions.
• Participate in standby/rota-based out-of-hours support as required.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with environmental, occupational health & safety, and quality standards.

Ideal Candidate

• Proven hands-on experience with BMS, control systems, or building automation technology.
• Knowledge of BMS components and communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, KNX).
• Familiarity with PLCs, DDC controllers, and graphical interface programming or adjustments.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, both hardware and software.
• Good communication skills, able to explain technical issues to non-technical clients.
• Relevant technical qualification in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites.
