We seek an AI Platform & Infrastructure Engineer to join our Oslo or Stavanger teams. You will design, build and operate secure cloud infrastructure and AI platform services, enabling production‑grade AI workloads while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to translate research into practical,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud platforms with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, OpenTofu, Bicep or PowerShell.
• Experience supporting AI/ML/Generative AI workloads and platform engineering.
• Knowledge of cloud/hybrid architectures, GPUs, compute, security, networking, and cost optimization.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and platform capabilities for enterprise AI solutions.
• Deploy, operate and optimize AI workloads across cloud, hybrid and on‑prem environments.
• Own and evolve AI platform services, deployment frameworks and IaC practices.
• Evaluate new AI platform technologies and translate into practical solutions.
• Collaborate with AI Centre of Excellence, developers and IT to establish blueprints and reusable components.
• Support lifecycle of AI solutions from environment setup to monitoring and readiness.

We are now looking for an AI Platform & Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in our Oslo or Stavanger offices.

What will you be doing?

Design, build and operate secure, scalable and automated cloud infrastructure and platform capabilities that enable enterprise AI solutions to move efficiently from experimentation into production

Deploy, operate and optimize AI workloads across cloud, hybrid and on‑premises environments, balancing performance, scalability, security and cost

Own and evolve AI platform services, deployment frameworks and Infrastructure-as-Code practices to support reliable and repeatable delivery

Evaluate new AI platform technologies, architectures and services, translating emerging capabilities into practical solutions and recommendations

Work closely with the AI Centre of Excellence, developers, data scientists and IT teams to establish best practices, technical blueprints and reusable platform components

Support the lifecycle of AI solutions, from environment setup and deployment to monitoring, optimization and operational readiness

We think you should have:

A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related field. Relevant professional experience may compensate for a lack of formal education

Hands‑on experience designing, deploying and managing cloud platforms and infrastructure, with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure

Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation using tools such as Terraform, OpenTofu, Bicep, PowerShell or similar technologies

Experience supporting AI, machine learning or Generative AI workloads, including platform engineering, workload optimization, deployment and operational considerations

Knowledge of cloud and hybrid architectures, with an understanding of GPUs, compute infrastructure, security, networking and cost optimization

A proactive and collaborative mindset, with the ability to take ownership, solve complex technical challenges and work effectively across multidisciplinary teams

Fluent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
