Job summary

Comfort Hotel Karl Johan is seeking a Breakfast Manager to lead the morning service for around 100,000 guests yearly. You will head a team of early risers, ensure breakfast quality, and maintain the hotel’s urban, welcoming vibe.

Role emphasizes cost control, inventory management, and compliance with Nordic Swan Ecolabel standards, while also promoting staff development and guest satisfaction in Oslo.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a hotel/restaurant setting.
• Strong guest-service orientation and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage a breakfast team and operations.
• Experience with budgeting, cost control and supplier relations.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and Nordic Swan Ecolabel expectations.

As the Breakfast Manager of Comfort Hotel Karl Johan, you're managing a breakfast crew team- all earlybirds like you who skip the morning rush hour commute and value their afternoons and evenings for personal interests.

Your to-do-list as a Comfort Breakfast Manager:

• Welcome guests with a friendly, no-nonsense approach, setting the tone for a great day
• Prepare and cook breakfast according to the Comfort Breakfast Manual
• Keep the breakfast room clean and tidy, buzzing with energy and positivity, working closely with colleagues to maintain Comfort´s effortless, urban vibe
• Support your team with everything they need to do all of the above - always following the Comfort rules and keeping our guest promise
• Food safety, inventory management, purchase and supplier loyalty, food waste management, budget control and keeping a balanced scoreboard to make sure the department runs profitably while maintaining our Nordic Swan Ecolabel certification standards.
• Make sure daily operations are run in compliance with our resource-efficiency targets and Nordic Swan Ecolabel standards.

As a Manager at Comfort Hotel, you need to be proficient in both English and a scandinavian language.Additional language skills may be beneficial to your application.
