Job summary

Strawberry is seeking a Breakfast Manager for Comfort Hotel Karl Johan in Oslo. You will lead a breakfast crew of early birds, ensuring a welcoming start for guests and maintaining our energetic, Nordic vibe.

You’ll manage food safety, inventory, and supplier relations while delivering a smooth daily operation in a busy hotel environment. Proficiency in English and a Scandinavian language is required, with opportunities to grow within the Strawberry group.

As the Breakfast Manager of Comfort Hotel Karl Johan, you're managing a breakfast crew team - all earlybirds like you who skip the morning rush hour commute and value their afternoons and evenings for personal interests.

Your to-do-list as a Comfort Breakfast Manager:

• Welcome guests with a friendly, no-nonsense approach, setting the tone for a great day
• Prepare and cook breakfast according to the Comfort Breakfast Manual
• Keep the breakfast room clean and tidy, buzzing with energy and positivity, working closely with colleagues to maintain Comfort's effortless, urban vibe
• Support your team with everything they need to do all of the above - always following the Comfort rules and keeping our guest promise
• Food safety, inventory management, purchase and supplier loyalty, food waste management, budget control and keeping a balanced scoreboard to make sure the department runs profitably while maintaining our Nordic Swan Ecolabel certification standards.
• Make sure daily operations are run in compliance with our resource-efficiency targets and Nordic Swan Ecolabel standards.

As a Manager at Comfort Hotel, you need to be proficient in both English and a scandinavian language. Additional language skills may be beneficial to your application.
