Overview

We are searching for talented chefs for various job position in stunning remote locations in Bergen area, Norway. If you're passionate about cooking, thrive in independent roles, and are eager to immerse yourself in European cuisine, this opportunity could be perfect for you!

Responsibilities
  • Independently prepare and execute culinary delights without constant supervision, demonstrating creativity and proficiency in European cuisine.
  • Craft and present a 3-course menu daily for a small number of guests (20-40 people per day), ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.
  • Maintain integrity and professionalism, adhering to high ethical standards and passing a thorough background check.
Requirements
  • Culinary expertise and a passion for creating exceptional dishes.
  • Ability to work autonomously and efficiently without constant guidance.
  • Clean background with no history of unethical behaviour.
  • Proficiency in European cuisine; familiarity with Norwegian culinary traditions is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license is a must for easy travel around the area; it is advisable to arrive to the working location by car.
Accommodation

Provided in a separate room within a spacious cabin shared with one other person (two separate bedrooms total).

Seasonal Dates

Start date is as soon as possible. Season concludes in early to mid-September. Potential for permanent position based on performance.

Salary

Gross salary ranging from 40,000 NOK to 45,000 NOK per month (based on experience) or hourly wage starting from 240 NOK/hour, working 6 days per week.
