Job summary

BMS Performance Ltd. is seeking a Chartered BMS Commissioning Engineer to lead commissioning across multiple live London-based projects.

You will ensure systems are fully operational, integrated and handed over to the required standard, working with Project Managers, subcontractors and clients on-site. Ideal candidates will have strong experience with Trend and Tridium, a proactive attitude, and a clear, professional customer-facing approach.

Qualifications

• Experience commissioning Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Strong experience with Trend and Tridium systems.
• Able to work independently across multiple project sites.
• Confident fault finding, control-panel testing and system integration.
• Experience collaborating with subcontractors, Project Managers and clients.
• Excellent communication and professional, customer-facing approach.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Based in London or within a practical commuting distance.

Responsibilities

• Commission BMS controls systems across new-build, refurbishment and upgrade projects.
• Configure, test and optimise Trend and Tridium-based systems to meet project specs.
• Plan commissioning activity with Project Managers to meet programme dates.
• Coordinate on-site subcontractors and other trades for smooth delivery.
• Carry out functional testing, fault finding and diagnostics to resolve issues.
• Verify integration of BMS with mechanical, electrical and third-party systems.
• Maintain commissioning records, test docs and handover information.
• Provide progress updates and technical support to clients and project stakeholders.
• Act as on-site technical contact during commissioning and ensure a professional customer experience.
