Job summary

Fifty5Blue seeks a DevOps Engineer to maintain and support Azure-based cloud infrastructure and 24/7 production systems. You will ensure reliable data delivery, monitor and automate across production, QA, and development environments.

The role requires hands-on Azure expertise, strong Linux skills, and a proactive approach to security and disaster recovery. Hybrid work is available, with a base in Oslo, Norway.

Qualifications

• Experience across the DevOps lifecycle from code to production.
• Hands-on Azure DevOps administration and configuration.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services and resources.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Azure resources hosting internally developed software.
• Monitor and support 24/7 cloud-based systems (Hive, Elasticsearch, Kibana, RabbitMQ, Docker, Azure Blob Storage).
• Handle data processing and ensure timely, accurate delivery.
• Develop automated provisioning for apps and infrastructure.
• Perform backups, housekeeping and system administration tasks.
• Ensure security and disaster recovery compliance with central teams.
• Troubleshoot issues via ticketing systems.
• Maintain thorough technical docs and corrective action plans.
• Support customer-facing production systems and QA/dev environments.
• Identify and manage technical risks proactively.
• Provide support for reference site with streaming and A/V tuning equipment.
• Liaise with central teams for effective issue resolution.
