Qualifications

• Experience building and operating production cloud infrastructure on Azure or other major cloud.
• Fluency with infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and observability.
• Strong Postgres, SQL, and time-series data modelling skills.
• Experience or conviction regarding AI-assisted development.
• Nice to have IoT/telemetry, cellular (LTE-M, NB-IoT), ISO 27001, Python, and cloud cost engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own the Azure cloud platform end to end: architecture, ingestion, data, cost, and the calls about what we run and why.
• Push AI-assisted development further than most dare and define guardrails for production infrastructure.
• Scale ingestion and the data tier for a fast-growing fleet with controlled cloud costs.
• Make reliability unremarkable with no silent data loss and proactive monitoring.
• Grow the data platform so fleet or shipment queries resolve quickly.
