Job summary

Proactive Global in Oslo, Norway, seeks a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a highly automated industrial and logistics site. You will be hands-on, ensuring critical equipment runs safely, efficiently and reliably in a modern automated environment.

Based at the Oslo site, you will perform planned and reactive maintenance on conveyors, cranes, lifters and material-handling systems, while working with a small engineering team on preventative maintenance and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, mechanical, automation or multi-skilled industrial maintenance.
• Experience with automated machinery or material-handling systems.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a small engineering team.
• Safety-focused and proactive maintenance approach.
• English at B2 level or above.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
• Norwegian knowledge is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on automated industrial equipment.
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical, mechanical and automation-related faults.
• Maintaining conveyors, automated cranes, lifters, monorail systems and pallet handling equipment.
• Supporting preventative maintenance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Responding to breakdowns and minimising equipment downtime.
• Working safely and following site maintenance procedures.
• Collaborating with colleagues across engineering and operations.
