Job summary

Voss Collision Centre is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative for its busy auto body shop in Dayton, Ohio. You will be the face of the business, handling customer inquiries, scheduling service appointments, and ensuring a smooth, positive experience from start to finish.

The role requires proven customer service experience in automotive/body shop settings, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a customer service role, ideally in auto body/body shop environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of auto repair services or willingness to learn.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass background and drug screens.

Responsibilities

Greet customers in a pleasant, professional manner.
Answer and screen incoming calls, directing to the proper party.
Perform clerical duties including typing and filing repair orders.
Open repair orders for vehicles and ensure forms are signed prior to repairs.
Explain estimates and LKQ parts usage, and discuss repair timelines with customers.
Maintain relationships with insurance companies and handle billing steps.
