Job summary

The Voss Auto Collision is seeking a full-time Body Shop Estimator in Centerville, OH. You will keep customers informed of progress and changes, review repair estimates with management, and prepare insurance forms indicating cost estimates and recommendations.

You will also write estimates for insurance companies within required timeframes, ensure timely paperwork, and complete final invoicing and inspection after work is finished.

Qualifications

• The body shop estimator requires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Strong computer skills are used daily.
• Must be able to compute ratios, percentages, and rates.
• Must read and understand directions, data, and SOPs required by insurers and the shop.

Responsibilities

• Keep the customer informed of progress and changes using strong customer service.
• Review repair cost estimates with the body shop manager.
• Prepare insurance forms indicating repair cost estimates and recommendations.
• Write competitive estimates for insurance companies within each insurer’s timeframe.
• Process all paperwork timely and accurately.
• Prepare final invoice and supplements prior to customer pickup.
• Perform final inspection after all work is complete.

Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30 am-6:00 pm

Responsibilities:

• Keeping the customer informed of the progress and any changes that arise. Will use your excellent customer service and follow-through skills.
• Reviewing repair cost estimates with the body shop manager.
• Preparing insurance forms to indicate repair cost estimates and recommendations.
• Writing competitive estimates for insurance companies within each insurance company's time frame.
• Getting all paperwork processed timely and accurate.
• Preparing final invoice and any supplements prior to the customer arriving to pick up the vehicle.
• Final inspection of the vehicle after all work is performed.

Qualifications:

• The body shop estimator requires a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• You will use your strong computer skills every day.
• Being able to compute ratios, percentages, and rates is used daily.
• You will need to be able to read and understand directions, data, and SOPs that are required by the insurance companies and the Voss Collision Centre.
• The Voss Collision Centre will make sure that you have the training needed to be successful as a body shop estimator.
