Overview

Sales Manager Aftermarket N America

As a Sales Manager for the Aftermarket division, you will play an important role in establishing and maintaining relationships with our North American customers, in collaboration with our well-established agent. North America will be your primary market, but you must also be prepared to take on additional markets once you are well established there.

Your focus will be to strengthen our position in the Aftermarket sector by promoting TMC Aftermarket solutions, offerings, and services. It is essential that you bring a strategic outlook covering short-, medium-, and long-term growth.

You will report to and work closely with our Global Sales Manager – Aftermarket, and you will be part of the sales team at our headquarters in Oslo.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Global Aftermarket Team to coordinate sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Conduct regular customer visits across USA and Canada to strengthen relationships and drive sales growth. You must be prepared to travel at least 100–120 days per year.
  • Identify and promote services and aftermarket solutions for TMC`s products to improve performance and maximize customer value both short- and long-term.
Qualifications

Our new Area Sales Manager must be a self-motivated, technically oriented professional with a strong commercial mindset and a proven track record of successfully engaging directly with end customers in the maritime and offshore sectors.

  • A degree in science or engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Relevant work experience may be considered in place of formal education.
  • Strong technical and commercial understanding, with a genuine desire to gain in-depth knowledge of our products, their applications, and customer challenges.
  • Ability to advise and guide customers in the maintenance and application of our machinery.
  • Excellent listening skills and the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with diverse stakeholders.
