A leading manufacturer is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Manager to oversee operations at their paint factory in Sandefjord. This crucial role involves leading a skilled maintenance team to ensure efficiency, safety, and operational excellence, while fostering continuous improvement and upholding high standards.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance operations for our production sites in Sandefjord – the Binder and Paint factories – as well as our R&D Centre. This is a vital role, where you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all technical assets and infrastructure. You will report directly to the Operations Director, Norway, and be part of the Operation Management Team. Your primary work location will be the paint factory at Vindal in Sandefjord.
You will lead a team of 4 direct reports and oversee a total maintenance organization of 23 skilled professionals. Your mission will be to drive operational excellence, uphold HSEQ standards, and support continuous improvement in line with Jotun’s values and strategic goals.
Lead and develop the Maintenance team to ensure a competent, engaged, and high-performing workforce
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with local laws, ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001), and Jotun’s HSEQ and Operations Systems
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery, utilities, and infrastructure across the Binder and Paint factories and R&D Centre
Collaborate with HSEQ and other stakeholders to ensure fire safety systems and critical installations are fully operational
Manage maintenance budgets and optimize cost-efficiency without compromising safety or reliability
Support and coordinate with internal and external partners on technical projects and capacity expansions

Qualifications:
Relevant technical education (Bachelor’s or equivalent)
Proven experience in maintenance leadership within manufacturing or industrial environments
Strong knowledge of HSEQ standards and maintenance systems
Excellent communication and team leadership skills
Fluent in English and preferably Norwegian
