Job description
Business Development Manager - Norway
The Opportunity

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to spearhead our external sales efforts in Norway. This is a frontline role responsible for cultivating new client relationships, developing existing accounts, and representing Energy Bolting across the market. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, self-driven individual looking to join a growing, high-performance team backed by the resources of a global group.

You will work from a home office and have the flexibility to balance travel and meetings according to your own schedule. You will have a particular connection to colleagues working in Eastern Norway, the UK-based Energy Bolting division, and the company’s headquarters (Nord-Lock Group) in Gothenburg.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead business development across Norway, focusing on Oil & Gas, Power Generation, and Defence sectors.
  • Build strong face-to-face customer relationships, understanding technical needs and aligning solutions.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities in line with the customer\'s manufacturing capabilities.
  • Develop and manage call plans, schedule visits, and create market-specific action plans.
  • Represent the business professionally at on-site meetings, trade events, and client facilities.
  • Submit weekly reports, visit summaries, and maintain all pipeline activity within the company CRM.
  • Collaborate with UK-based and global teams to align on strategy, priorities, and customer engagement.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving client needs.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in engineering or business or the equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years proven experience in business development or technical sales, ideally within fasteners, engineered components, or industrial supply to energy-related sectors.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills – you\'ll be the face of the company in the Norwegian market.
  • A results-driven individual with a proactive approach to identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Self-motivated individual with integrity and the ability to work remotely.
  • Confident working with CRM tools, reporting metrics, and managing structured sales activity.
  • Ability to travel regularly for customer meetings, site visits, and trade events.
  • Professional, trustworthy, and aligned with our core values of quality, integrity, and service.
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English.
What We Offer
  • The chance to shape and lead our business development strategy in Norway.
  • Support from a skilled UK manufacturing team and the global Nord-Lock Group network.
  • A dynamic role with autonomy, accountability, and real career development potential.
  • Competitive base salary.
  • A values-driven organization focused on long-term partnerships and engineering excellence.

If this sounds like the kind of challenge you’re ready for, we’d love to hear from you. Join us and help shape the future of Energy Bolting in Norway.
