Job summary

OneSpace Architects is seeking a Project Designer with 3–5 years of professional architectural experience to join our growing, people-centered firm. You will lead projects through design, documentation, permitting, and construction phases, while growing technically and professionally.

You will work with a small, fast-paced team, applying your Revit or AutoCAD skills, knowledge of codes, and attention to detail to produce accurate drawings and documentation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional architectural experience.
• Architecture degree from an accredited program.
• Strong understanding of architectural design and construction documentation.
• Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning, and permitting processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small, fast-paced team.
• Motivated to learn, take ownership, and grow with the firm.
• Architectural licensure or progress toward licensure is a plus.

OneSpace Architects is a growing, people-centered architecture and design firm serving clients throughout Hampton Roads and beyond. Our work includes commercial architecture, restaurant and retail projects, tenant build-outs, medical and daycare facilities, banks, offices, custom homes, additions, and interior design.
We are looking for a leader, creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Project Designer to join our team. This position is ideal for an architect with approximately 3–5 years of professional experience who wants to take greater ownership of projects while continuing to grow technically and professionally.
