Job summary

IKM Consultants AS is seeking an SAP Application Manager to lead the operation and evolution of SAP applications across a complex IT landscape. The role requires coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless system integrations and optimal end-to-end processes.

Candidates should have strong communication skills and proven SAP experience, including SAP S/4HANA familiarity. Location options include Oslo, Stavanger, or Trondheim on an onsite/hybrid basis.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain SAP applications and related systems.
• Oversee the IT landscape, ensuring seamless system integrations and effective end-to-end processes.
• Navigate and analyze complex system environments to optimize application interactions and dependencies.
• Coordinate with diverse internal and external stakeholders to align on system requirements and project goals.
• Contribute to the stability and performance of applications within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
• Act as a key technical resource for SAP-related processes and system management.

Required expertise

• Relevant higher education in IT, business, or a similar field; extensive experience may compensate for formal education.
• Proven experience in SAP application management and a solid understanding of key SAP modules.
• Strong grasp of complex IT landscapes, including system integrations, dependencies, and end-to-end processes.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate and troubleshoot in complex system environments.
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working successfully in complex settings with multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is considered a significant advantage.
• Strong communication skills.
