Job summary

NewIT Services is seeking an experienced Application Programmer II with Mule ESB/MuleSoft expertise to design, develop, test, and support enterprise integration solutions, APIs, and interfaces.

You will work in a hybrid/remote setup with cross-functional teams, own the integration codebase, ensure quality through tests, CI/CD, and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Mule ESB/MuleSoft development experience.
• Experience designing, developing, testing and supporting enterprise integrations.
• Good understanding of APIs, data formats (XML/JSON) and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using Mule ESB/MuleSoft.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, web services, and interfaces.
• Build reusable integration components and services for enterprise apps.
• Integrate applications with internal systems, external services, databases and third-party platforms.
• Work with XML, JSON, REST, SOAP and related technologies.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Application Programmer II with strong Mule ESB/MuleSoft development and integration experience. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise integration solutions, APIs, and application interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using Mule ESB/MuleSoft technologies.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, web services, and application interfaces.
• Build reusable integration components and services to support enterprise applications.
• Integrate applications with internal systems, external services, databases, and third‑party platforms.
• Work with XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, and related integration technologies.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well‑tested code following development best practices.
• Participate in unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, and application support activities.
• Work with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development tools.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, DevOps, and business teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities and contribute to continuous improvement.
