Aker Solutions is seeking an AI Security Engineer to join our Oslo office, designing secure AI agents and autonomous workflows that support critical business processes. Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Data Science or equivalent experience
• Experience with AI technologies, agentic AI, autonomous systems, or AI orchestration
• Hands-on software development, architecture, or platform engineering experience
• Experience with cloud-based AI ecosystems, preferably Microsoft stack (Azure, Azure AI Foundry, Copilot)
• Fluent written and spoken English

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement secure AI agents and autonomous workflows that support critical business processes across Aker Solutions
• Assess and manage risks related to agentic AI systems, including autonomous decision-making, behavioural drift, unintended actions and security threats
• Define and implement architecture patterns, guardrails and monitoring capabilities that enable safe and scalable deployment of AI agents
• Collaborate with application, platform and security teams to integrate AI solutions across Microsoft and other emerging AI ecosystems
• Develop capabilities for detecting, analysing and responding to anomalous or potentially harmful AI agent behaviour
• Contribute to the evolution of enterprise standards, operating models and best practices for trusted and responsible use of AI

What will you be doing?

Design, develop and implement secure AI agents and autonomous workflows that support critical business processes across Aker Solutions

Assess and manage risks related to agentic AI systems, including autonomous decision-making, behavioural drift, unintended actions and security threats

Define and implement architecture patterns, guardrails and monitoring capabilities that enable safe and scalable deployment of AI agents

Collaborate with application, platform and security teams to integrate AI solutions across Microsoft and other emerging AI ecosystems

Develop capabilities for detecting, analysing and responding to anomalous or potentially harmful AI agent behaviour

Contribute to the evolution of enterprise standards, operating models and best practices for trusted and responsible use of AI

We think you should have:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Data Science or related field. Relevant professional experience may compensate for lack of formal education

Solid understanding of risk, security and resilience principles, with the ability to identify, assess and mitigate risks in complex technology environments, especially within industrial applications

Strong experience working with AI technologies, preferably agentic AI, autonomous systems, AI orchestration, AI platforms or advanced automation solutions

Hands-on software development, architecture or platform engineering experience, with the ability to translate concepts into practical implementations

Experience with cloud-based AI ecosystems and modern technology platforms, preferably within the Microsoft technology stack (Azure, Azure AI Foundry, Copilot or related technologies)

Fluent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
