Job summary

Vervida in Stavanger (Norway) seeks an AI Product Engineer to help build Syntropio as a real product for customer environments. You will work hands-on on product functionality, AI workflows, and integrations, aligning technical work with consulting scenarios.

The role requires strong backend/full-stack capabilities, experience with AI APIs, prompts, and model orchestration, plus excellent English. Norwegian language skills are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software development capability to prototype and debug features.
• Experience building AI-enabled applications and LLM workflows.
• Strong backend or full-stack skills including APIs and data flows.
• Ability to translate user needs into valuable product actions.
• Clear communication of technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Norwegian preferred.
• Knowledge of enterprise Microsoft integrations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, prototype, test, debug and improve Syntropio product functionality.
• Build AI-enabled workflows, model calls and retrieval logic.
• Work with backend logic, APIs, storage, authentication and logging.
• Configure Syntropio for customer environments with knowledge sources.
• Collaborate with consultants to map product use in workshops and docs.
• Write technical notes, release notes, and admin guidance.
• Support QA activities, testing and documentation.
