Job summary

Q-Free is seeking an AI Enablement Engineer to move AI from isolated experiments to structured, secure use across engineering teams. Based preferably in Trondheim, you will join Q-Free’s AI Center of Excellence and report to the Chief AI Officer, collaborating across locations, cultures and disciplines.

You will help teams adopt practical AI tools, build AI-augmented workflows and share learning to advance secure, value-driven AI adoption across the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering foundation.
• Experience with generative AI, LLMs and AI-assisted development.
• Degree in computer science, software engineering, AI/ML, data science or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Norwegian language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Explore, evaluate and apply new AI tools, models and ways of working relevant to Q-Free.
• Work hands-on with product, engineering and domain teams to assess value, limitations and risk while developing and integrating practical AI-based solutions.
• Develop shared patterns, best practices and reusable approaches for AI-assisted software development, engineering work and broader AI adoption across Q-Free.
• Collaborate closely with AI Champions and engineering communities through discussions, design reviews, demonstrations, workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Contribute to observability, evaluation and measurement of AI solutions, including effect, usage, cost and quality over time.
