Job summary

Birralee International School seeks an After School Programme Assistant for on-call cover, supporting ASP activities and supervising children after the school day. The role offers flexible hours during ASP operations, with rolling applications and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is an advantage.
• A relevant vocational qualification in child and youth care ( fagbrev i barne- og ungdomsarbeiderfaget ) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
• Organise and support enjoyable indoor and outdoor activities.
• Encourage play, friendships and participation, helping all children feel included.
• Support children's social and emotional development.
• Provide individual support where needed.
• Work closely with colleagues to maintain a positive and welcoming environment.
• Help with daily routines, including preparing activities and tidying shared spaces.
