Job summary

Ikm Gruppen AS in offshore Norway is seeking a Project Completion Engineer to lead end-to-end project closure, ensuring safety, quality and environmental compliance.

You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, manage schedules and budgets, and provide engineering support during offshore installation and commissioning on a fixed-term assignment from August 2026 to July 2027.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Completion Engineer or similar in energy/offshore.
• Strong project management skills in planning, execution, and reporting.
• Experience with offshore operations and construction projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent.
• Ability to manage complex tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with offshore standards and regulations.

• -Ensure project activities adhere to strict safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• -Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
• -Manage and report on project progress, schedules, budgets, and potential risks.
• -Prepare and finalize all necessary project documentation and close-out reports.
• -Provide engineering support during offshore installation and commissioning phases.
• -Ensure all completion activities are aligned with project objectives and specifications.

Required expertise

• -Proven experience as a Project Completion Engineer or in a similar role, preferably within the energy or offshore industry.
• -Strong background in project management, including planning, execution, and reporting.
• -Demonstrated experience with offshore operations and construction projects.
• -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration in a team-oriented environment.
• -A relevant engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• -Ability to manage complex tasks and solve problems effectively in a dynamic environment.
• -Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for offshore projects.
