Job summary

A leading aerospace company in Norway is looking for an accountant to participate in daily accounting tasks and finance operations. You will be responsible for managing accounts payable, reconciling bank accounts, and ensuring compliance with internal controls. The ideal candidate has relevant education and at least three years of experience in accounting, as well as strong skills in Excel and communication.

Participate in the daily accounting at our office in Andøya, Norway, as well as other finance tasks such as reporting, group alignment, payment transactions, and tax declarations.

Participate in the daily accounting at our office in Andøya, Norway, as well as other finance tasks such as reporting, group alignment, payment transactions, and tax declarations.

Your Role in Our Space Mission:

  • Responsible for accounts payable
  • Recording and maintaining financial transactions
  • Regular reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Assisting with periodic accounting closings
  • Following up and communicating with suppliers, including account reconciliation
  • Cooperating with internal and external auditors
  • Ensuring adherence to internal routines and controls
  • Performing other duties as required
  • Acting as deputy for the Manager Finance Nordics

Qualification Checklist

  • Relevant education and over 3 years of experience in economics or accounting
  • Experience with bookkeeping and accounting (A/P and G/L)
  • Knowledge of accounting programs, especially Xledger, is an advantage
  • Good Excel skills
  • Experience in other finance areas (reporting, controlling, treasury, taxes) and HR is a plus
  • Sociable and positive attitude, with strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Accurate, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and oral
