Job summary

ORANGE Technologies is seeking a Structural Engineer Shipbuilding to join our naval engineering team on a high-end yacht project. You will work from the initial design phase to hull delivery, performing analyses, reviewing concepts, and applying optimizations.

A degree in Maritime Engineering or Naval Architecture and at least two years of naval experience are required. Proficiency with FEM tools like ANSYS, NX, AutoCAD or RFEM, and fluent English are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Maritime Engineering, Naval Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of naval engineering experience in ship or yacht construction.
• Proven experience with FEM, structural analyses and strength calculations.
• Proficient with ANSYS, NX, AutoCAD, CADMATIC, ShipConstructor or RFEM.
• Knowledge of international regulations and shipbuilding standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analyses, including FEM, strength and stress checks.
• Develop and review conceptual and basic designs for ships and yachts.
• Conduct feasibility studies and optimize structure, weight and materials.
• Advise on construction methods and technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with classification societies and project standards.
• Collaborate with design, engineering and production teams.
