Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a Workshop Technician to join our Maastricht workshop at Maastricht-Airport. You will analyze, overhaul and repair pumps, agitators, grinders, compressors and blowers, performing machining work and preparing analysis reports.

The role requires a technical MBO diploma and a practical mindset for rotating equipment, with Dutch as the main language and English a plus. We offer a market-competitive salary, an annual bonus, generous vacation/ATV days (38), and a solid pension

Qualifications

• Completed technical MBO diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with mounting or service of rotating equipment is a plus but not required.
• Affinity with electrical engineering is a plus.
• Strong technical insight and problem-solving ability.
• Analytical, accurate and structured work approach.
• Good command of Dutch; English is a plus.
• Some computer experience (Word, Excel).
• Independent, flexible and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, overhaul and repair pumps, agitators, grinders, compressors and blowers in the Maastricht-Airport workshop.

About the role

Sulzer Flow is wereldwijd marktleider in de ontwikkeling en levering van onder andere pompen, roerwerken, vermalers, compressoren en beluchters in geselecteerde industriële markten, met name in olie & gas, energie, water, afvalwater en de papierindustrie. De Sulzer Water & General Industry Business Unit heeft vestigingen in België en Nederland en is in deze regio met ongeveer 50 medewerkers actief in de verkoop, installatie en service van bovengenoemde producten. Kom werken bij Sulzer als Workshop Technician (monteur) en help mee om onze service naar een next level te brengen.

In deze rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor:

• Het analyseren, reviseren en repareren van pompen, roerwerken, vermalers, compressoren en beluchters in onze werkplaats te Maastricht-Airport
• Machinale werkzaamheden
• Opstellen van analyserapporten
• Uitvoeren van testen in de proefstand

Om te slagen in deze rol, heb je nodig:

• Succesvol afgeronde technische mbo-opleiding, bij voorkeur in werktuigbouwkunde of vergelijkbaar
• Ervaring met montage van of service aan Rotating Equipment is een pré maar geen must
• Affiniteit met elektrotechniek is een pré
• Technisch inzicht, je bent een echte sleutelaar
• Je beschikt over analytisch en probleemoplossend vermogen
• Je bent accuraat en werkt gestructureerd
• Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal is een must, Engelse taal is een pré
• Je beschikt over enige computerervaring (Word, Excel)
• Een zelfstandige, flexibele en klantgerichte instelling
