Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a working student for the Barneveld project office to support coordination and processing of research assignments in a dynamic laboratory setting.

You will register and check incoming samples, verify completeness, process data, and assist with sample preparation for shipment while coordinating with logistics and laboratory teams. This role offers exposure to laboratory workflows and process improvements.

Qualifications

• You are currently a student (HBO/WO or MBO level 4)
• You are available for at least 2 days per week, but more days is preferred
• You work accurately and in a structured way
• You are stress-resistant and can switch between tasks effectively
• You have a good command of the Dutch language
• You have an affinity with laboratory work or a life sciences background (a plus, not required)
• You are proactive and not afraid to ask questions

For the project office in Barneveld, Eurofins is looking for working students at short notice to temporarily strengthen the team in a dynamic laboratory environment.

Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing laboratory testing and advisory services. In the Netherlands, its environmental laboratories offer a broad range of chemical, physical, and biological analyses across all environmental matrices. From locations in Amsterdam (Eurofins Omegam) and Barneveld (Eurofins Analytico), around 600 specialists manage the entire process from sampling to reporting.

What will you do?

As a working student within the project office, you will support the coordination and processing of research assignments. You will play an important role in ensuring a smooth workflow between clients, logistics, and the laboratory.

Your tasks will include:
