Job summary

Eurofins Scientific - Nederland in Barneveld is looking for a working student to strengthen the project office during the July–October summer period. You will support coordination between clients, logistics and the laboratory, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic laboratory environment.

You are a current HBO/WO or MBO level-4 student, available part-time from July to October, and able to work at least two days a week.

Qualifications

• You are currently a student at HBO/WO or MBO level 4.
• You are available from July till October (at least 2 days per week).
• You work accurately and in a structured way.
• You are stress-resistant and can switch between tasks effectively.
• You have a good command of the Dutch language.
• You have an affinity with laboratory work or a life sciences background (a plus, not required).
• You are proactive and not afraid to ask questions.

Responsibilities

• Registering and checking incoming assignments and samples
• Verifying completeness and identifying discrepancies
• Processing data and results in systems
• Supporting the release and preparation of samples for shipment

Job description

For our project office in Barneveld, Eurofins is looking for working students at short notice to strengthen the team during the summer period from July to October. This is an opportunity to gain relevant work experience in a dynamic laboratory environment.

Do you have a background in life sciences, chemistry, or another lab-related field? That is a plus. However, if you are studying something else but have an interest in process-oriented and precise work, you are also encouraged to apply.

About Eurofins and the team

Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing laboratory testing and advisory services. Eurofins’ environmental laboratories in the Netherlands offer a broad range of chemical, physical, and biological analyses across environmental matrices. From the locations in Amsterdam (Eurofins Omegam) and Barneveld (Eurofins Analytico), around 600 specialists manage the entire process from sampling to reporting.

What will you do?

As a working student within the project office, you will support the coordination and processing of research assignments. You will play an important role in ensuring a smooth workflow between clients, logistics, and the laboratory.
