Job summary

Canon Production Printing in Venlo, the Netherlands, seeks a Working Student (m/f/d) for experimental testing. You will independently conduct, evaluate, and document tests using experimental setups and support testing on printing systems.

The role is approx. 10–20 hours per week, more than 6 months, and requires enrollment in a technical or scientific degree. German and English skills are essential, with a strong emphasis on data analysis and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled student in a technical or scientific degree program.
  • Availability of approximately 10–20 hours per week.
  • Strong analytical and data evaluation skills.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and preferably experienced with additional digital tools such as Microsoft Visio, TC-UA, Siemens NX CAD, MATLAB/Simscape, and Siemens Simatic.
  • High level of commitment, teamwork, and a structured, detail-oriented, and results-driven working style.

  • Independently conduct, evaluate, and document tests using experimental setups.

  • Tools
    • Standard: Microsoft Office applications, TC-UA, Siemens NX CAD system
    • Optional: MATLAB/Simscape, Siemens Simatic PLC control systems
Profile
  • Availability of approximately 10–20 hours per week
  • Duration: more than 6 months
  • Enrolled student in a technical or scientific degree program (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Precision Engineering, or a related field)
  • Interdisciplinary understanding of scientific and technical principles
  • Experience in analyzing and evaluating scientific data
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and preferably experienced with additional digital tools such as Microsoft Visio, TC-UA, Siemens NX CAD, MATLAB/Simscape, and Siemens Simatic
  • High level of commitment, teamwork, and willingness to learn, combined with a structured, detail-oriented, and results-driven working style.
