Job summary

Rewire is seeking a Working Student in Data Engineering to join our Amsterdam team. From day one you’ll contribute to client data & AI projects, developing data pipelines and scalable infrastructure under the guidance of experienced engineers.

You’ll learn on the job, collaborate across data, cloud, and software teams, and grow toward a full-time role after your studies. The role requires Dutch and English fluency and a minimum 16 hours per week, ideally 24 hours.

Qualifications

• Currently in a quantitative Bachelor's or Master’s program (3rd year or beyond).
• Interest in building data pipelines and scalable AI infrastructure.
• Strong problem-solving and eager to learn in a real-world setting.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, written and spoken.

You’re a motivated problem solver and a curious learner – with a passion for building the technologies that bring AI‑powered solutions to life. You’ll thrive with us if you bring:

A strong academic foundation– you’re currently in your3rd year or beyondof aquantitativeBachelor’s or Master’sprogram (e.g. Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Econometrics) withexcellent results

Where and how you’ll work

Most of your work will take place at our Amsterdam office – a space designed to foster problem‑solving, collaboration, and innovation, and simply put, where we build the future.

We’re aiming for aminimum of 16 hoursper week –ideally, 24 hoursspread acrossthree days– so you can dive deep into projects and still keep your studies on track.

While the office is your main workspace, occasional work from home is possible in alignment with your team to support a healthy balance between work and study.

And yes – we also know how to have fun: with regular team events and Friday drinks to connect, celebrate our wins, and sometimes just kick off the weekend right.
