Job summary

NN Group in The Hague is seeking a Technical Lead for Windows & SQL Server within the MIaaS team. You will define the technical direction, own architectural decisions, and guide engineers with hands-on leadership in a hybrid environment.

You will drive automation, manage Windows and SQL Server platforms, collaborate with architects and product teams, and ensure secure, scalable, future-proof services while growing team capabilities.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Senior/Lead Engineer or SQL Server Administrator.
• Deep knowledge of Windows Server environments and SQL Server.
• Experience with automation, scripting, and standardization.
• Ability to explain technical decisions to engineers, architects and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical direction and roadmap for Windows and SQL Server services within Managed IaaS.
• Translate architectural decisions into practical and executable solutions.
• Support Domain Architect with technical insights for decisions.
• Own technical decision-making within your domain and prevent delays.
• Contribute to ADRs, Solution Intents, and technical docs.
• Safeguard technical quality through reviews and standards.
• Drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.
• Improve operational stability, security, and lifecycle management.
