Job description

As a Windows Server Administrator, You Will:

• Install, configure, administer, and support Windows Server environments across enterprise infrastructures.
• Manage and maintain Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012, and related Microsoft server technologies.
• Administer Microsoft Active Directory services, ensuring availability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Manage and support Domain Controllers, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Active Directory replication services.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve server, network, and Active Directory-related issues.
• Perform Windows Server security patching, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation activities.
• Support and maintain Windows clustering environments to ensure high availability and business continuity.
• Administer VMware vSphere environments and support virtual infrastructure operations.
• Manage virtual machine lifecycle activities including provisioning, cloning, templates, snapshots, migrations, and resource optimization.
• Support vMotion, DRS, HA, and other VMware virtualization technologies.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams to support hybrid and cloud-based environments.
• Support cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP and assist with infrastructure integration initiatives.
• Participate in incident, problem, change, and service request management processes aligned with ITIL practices.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge repositories.
• Contribute to infrastructure modernization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 6–8 years of experience in Windows Server administration and enterprise infrastructure support.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012, and Microsoft server technologies.
• Hands‑on experience managing Microsoft Active Directory environments.
• Strong knowledge of Domain Controllers, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Active Directory replication.
• Experience supporting Windows clustering and high‑availability solutions.
• Expertise in Windows Server security patching, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong experience with VMware vSphere platforms including vSphere 5.x, 6.x, and related virtualization technologies.
• Hands‑on knowledge of vMotion, DRS, High Availability, cloning, templates, and snapshots.
• Experience supporting cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure operations, security, and governance practices.
• Experience working within ITIL‑based service management environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively in enterprise‑scale and mission‑critical environments.
