Job summary

Wlgroup is seeking a Windows Server Administrator to maintain and automate a broad Windows environment in The Hague. You will own update management, configuration, and directory services, while writing PowerShell scripts to reduce repetitive work and enforce consistency across machines.

Ideal candidates bring solid Windows administration experience, proficiency with scripting, and familiarity with virtualization or cloud tech. Strong English communication and precise documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on administration of Windows and Windows Server in a large organisation.
• Scripting in PowerShell and using configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
• Troubleshooting servers and end-user devices under time pressure.
• Knowledge of virtualization, containers or public cloud.
• Professional English and documenting changes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the environments behind one service line, not a single box.
• Serve as the reference point for Windows Server and the Microsoft tool suite—updates, configuration, directory and federation services.
• Write and maintain PowerShell scripts and configuration management to keep machines consistent.
• Diagnose root causes and clearly report what happened when things go wrong.
• Onboard new services and improve existing ones.
