Job summary

M&I Broadcast Services is seeking a software engineer to own the Windows front-end of OmniPlayer and help modernize development with AI-assisted tooling. The role is based in Hilversum, Netherlands, with a hybrid work arrangement, collaborating across product, support, and engineering.

You will build and maintain native Windows desktop applications in C++/C# .NET 8.0, contribute to backend services, and apply AI tooling to accelerate understanding of a mature codebase.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience developing native Windows desktop apps in C++/C#.
• Strong REST APIs, data integration, and OAuth knowledge.
• Multithreading and synchronization expertise.
• Fluent Dutch and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Own the Windows front-end of OmniPlayer, the core application used daily by broadcasters.
• Develop and maintain Windows applications primarily in C++ and C# .NET 8.0.
• Contribute to backend API services built in C++ and C# .NET 8.0; participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with product and support teams to improve customer outcomes.
