Job summary

ING is seeking a WB Portfolio Management Expert I to oversee credit risk performance across Wholesale Banking sectors and geographies. You will develop a holistic view of the portfolio, ensure alignment with risk appetite, and support global governance forums.

The role requires analytical depth and strong stakeholder engagement, enabling proactive detection of risk and effective escalation through committees. Hybrid work and international collaboration are central to the position.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and 10–15 years of experience in credit risk.
• Strong credit risk expertise and understanding of risk management processes.
• Proven ability to drive change in an international context.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor credit risk metrics and support portfolio reviews across WB sectors and geographies.
• Challenge credit risk performance to ensure adherence to risk appetite and flag emerging risks.
• Participate in Global Portfolio Management Committees and WB Sector Outlook to drive second-line challenge.
• Provide expert input to Credit Risk Frameworks & Control team and WB locations.
• Build relationships with regional credit risk teams, Wholesale Banking front office, and WB risk functions.
• Support regulatory and audit engagements with documentation and analysis.
