Job summary

ING is seeking a WB Portfolio Management Expert I within Global Credit Risk to oversee the performance of the Wholesale Banking loan portfolio across sectors and geographies. You will translate portfolio insights into risk actions, partner with regional teams and front office, and contribute to governance through PomCos and risk frameworks.

The role requires a Master’s degree and 10–15 years of credit risk experience, with strong analytical and communication skills and a track record in

Qualifications

Master’s degree required in a relevant field.
10–15 years of experience in credit risk.
Strong expertise in credit risk and risk management processes.
Experience in an international context and change management.

Responsibilities

Monitor credit risk metrics across the Wholesale Banking loan portfolio.
Challenge credit risk performance to ensure adherence to risk appetite.
Participate in Global Portfolio Management Committees (PomCos) and the WB Sector Outlook.
Provide input to the Credit Risk Frameworks & Control team.
Build relationships with regional WB locations and Wholesale Banking front office.
Support regulatory and audit engagements with documentation and analysis.
