Cooke Aquaculture Inc., Cold Ocean Salmon division, seeks a motivated Wharf Crew member to join our Hermitage, Newfoundland operations. This full-time position supports material handling, inventory, and order fulfillment in a coastal processing environment.

Responsibilities include receiving, storing, issuing materials, maintaining records, ensuring safety, and contributing to a competitive benefits package including health, dental, and a company-matched pension.

Formación

Cold Ocean Salmon, a division of Cooke Aquaculture Inc., a dynamic and growing east coast family company, with Platinum Member status in the Canada's Best Managed Companies Program, has an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our Wharf Crew based out of Hermitage, Newfoundland. This will be a full-time position.

The Role

Reporting to the Production Manager, the duties and responsibilities are:

• Receive, store, and issue materials and supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Fulfill orders from different departments.
• Submit quantities when inventory is low for reordering
• Keep the feed room clean and organized.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills both written and oral.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and operate equipment.
• Involves standing, bending, and lifting.
• May require flexible hours.
• Exposure to varying temperatures.
