Job summary

The Student Wellbeing Point at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam is seeking a Part-time Point Peer who is a full-time Bachelor or Master student. You will engage with fellow students in wellbeing conversations, help create a welcoming space, and guide peers to campus and external wellbeing services.

You will also represent the point at events, contribute to social media content, and participate in outreach. The role offers a structured student job with flexible hours (6-8 per week) and generous

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a full-time Bachelor or Master student at VU during the 2026-27 academic year.
• Second-year student or prior VU study experience.
• Excellent command of English (verbal and written).
• No other contract position at VU, unless on-call/0-hour contract.
• Affinity for Canva Pro, social media strategy, or content creation (TikTok/Instagram Reels).

Responsibilities

• Engage in helping conversations with students about wellbeing topics, in person and digitally via live chat, email, and DM.
• Create and hold a safe space at the Student Wellbeing Point.
• Provide information about and refer students to wellbeing services at the VU and externally.
• Be an active ambassador by being visible on campus during events and promotional activities.
• Create social media content to raise awareness about student wellbeing and the Point.
