Job summary

Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam is seeking a dedicated Point Peer for the Student Wellbeing Point. You will listen empathetically to fellow students, create a welcoming space, and guide them to wellbeing services on and beyond campus. You’ll also help raise awareness through social channels.

The role requires active participation on campus, a current full-time VU student status (2026-27), and strong English communication. Flexible hours help support our community.

Qualifications

• You are a current full-time Bachelor or Master student at VU for the 2026-27 academic year.
• You are familiar with university life and the VU campus, ideally second-year or with prior VU study experience.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Engage in wellbeing conversations with students in person and via live chat, email, and DM.
• Create and maintain a safe space at the Student Wellbeing Point.
• Provide information and refer students to VU wellbeing services and external resources.
• Act as a visible ambassador on campus during events and promotions.
• Create social media content to raise awareness of student wellbeing and the Point.
