PPHE Hotel Group invites applications for a Restaurants, Bars PR & Marketing Intern starting February 2027. The role supports restaurants and bars across Europe, including Amsterdam, London and Rome, working with the PR & Marketing teams to create content for social media, websites and collateral.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in a dynamic hospitality setting and assist with photo shoots, campaigns and reports.

Qualifications

• Currently studying at Bachelor level in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Branding.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) a must; Dutch a large benefit.
• Experience with Canva, InDesign, Adobe Photoshop is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Support the success of destination restaurants and bars in Amsterdam, London and Rome.
• Collaborate with Senior PR & Marketing Manager & PR & Marketing Manager.
• Create content for paid and organic social media, website, and collateral updates.
• Assist with photo and video shoots as needed.
• Support with email marketing campaigns and newsletters.
• Assist with organizing PR visits and printing collateral to promote venues.
• Help compile PR & Marketing reports for stakeholder meetings.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

In this role of Restaurant& Bars PR & Marketing Intern , you will be supporting the success of all our destination restaurants and bars in London, Amsterdam and Rome. You will work closely with the Senior PR & Marketing Manager & PR & Marketing Manager in the restaurant and bar team as well as all the social central support team and regional teams.

This role will focus on supporting driving initiatives across all outlets, creating content where needed for Paid and organic social media, website and collateral updates, and travelling from time to time to help with photo and video shoots.

We are looking for someone with a creative eye and highly organised. Your role will include but not be limited to the following:

• Lead with trend watching, content planning, engagement, scheduling and growth activity for management of social media accounts for restaurants and bars (remit tbd)
• Content creation for restaurants and bars, event in line with strategy set by team.
• Support with designing of meta campaigns & creatives for restaurant, bar & events
• Support with copywriting and updates for websites for restaurants & bar
• Support with organization of PR visits for restaurants & bars
• Designing & printing of collateral to promote restaurant, bar, event or to enhance the guest experience.
• Support in compiling PR & Marketing reports for stakeholder meetings
• Support with email marketing campaigns and newsletters
• Support with menu audit, design and printing process
• Support with Internal communications to get the business excited about what we are doing
• Ensure our content drives & online portals are efficiently organized and up to date
• Support in ensuring our 3rd party online listings are up to date
• Support overall marketing team efforts with ongoing admin support

What we are looking for:

• Someone who is sparky, creative, enthusiastic and not a stranger to the worlds of restaurants, bars & hotels.
• Currently studying at Bachelor level (or higher) in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Branding.
• Proficiency in English (both spoken and written) a must, and Dutch a large benefit
• Eager to learn Marketing & bring their creativity to the table. No idea is too crazy for us!
• Experience with Canva, Indesign, Adobe Photoshop is a bonus
• Ability to set goals and accomplish them within given timeframes
• Hands‑on and capable of working independently, plus enjoy working in a team
• Highly organised and systematic approach to work plus strong in execution and eye for detail
• Strong analytical skills, whilst staying curious and creative
• Proactive and self‑driven
• You know what is hot, what is on trend, and what is not!
