PPHE Hotel Group invites a Web Development Intern to join our Corporate Office in Amsterdam Sloterdijk. You will gain hands‑on experience in website management, analytics and digital marketing while supporting multiple brands across Europe.

You’ll work with our Digital and Web Development teams, contribute to content updates, data analysis, and QA activities, and learn how large hospitality sites are managed in an international setting.

Qualifications

• Currently studying Digital Marketing, Hospitality, Business Administration, Communications, IT or related field.
• Proven ability to learn quickly and work across multiple tasks.
• Strong written and spoken English communication is required.
• Interest in digital marketing, websites, e‑commerce or online guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist with website performance analysis and UX improvements for multiple brands.
• Support content updates across hotel and brand websites.
• Monitor dashboards and highlight opportunities for optimization.
• Help prepare internal reports and presentations.
• Support website testing and QA activities.
• Coordinate with external agencies using tools like Asana.
• Contribute to projects enhancing guest journeys and site performance.
• Learn how large hospitality sites are managed and maintained.
• Translate analytics data into actionable insights.
• Gain exposure to Google Analytics, Google Search Console, GTM and Adobe Analytics.
• Support Digital team with daily tasks and ongoing projects.

As a Web Development Intern based at our Corporate Office Amsterdam Sloterdijk, you will gain hands‑on experience in website management, digital marketing, and online performance optimisation. Working closely with our Digital and Web Development teams, you will support website projects across our hotels, restaurants, and brands while developing valuable skills in analytics, user experience, content management, and digital marketing.

Responsibilities

• Support the analysis of website performance, user experience, and online engagement
• Assist with website content updates across multiple brands and hotel websites
• Monitor website dashboards and highlight opportunities for improvement
• Support the creation of reports and presentations for internal stakeholders
• Assist with website testing and quality assurance activities
• Work with external digital agencies and support project coordination using tools such as Asana
• Support digital projects that enhance website performance and the guest journey
• Learn how large‑scale hospitality websites are managed and maintained
• Assist with monitoring website analytics and translating data into actionable insights
• Gain experience with digital tools including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and Adobe Analytics
• Support the Digital team with ongoing projects and day‑to‑day activities

Essential Requirements

• Studying Digital Marketing, Hospitality, Business Administration, Communications, IT, E-commerce, or a related field
• Available for a minimum internship period of five months
• Interested in digital marketing, websites, e-commerce, or online customer experiences
• Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn new skills and systems
• Well organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Comfortable working in an international team environment

Preferred Requirements

• Interest in website management, analytics, or digital marketing
• Basic knowledge of Excel, Google Analytics, or content management systems is an advantage
• Experience with digital, website, or marketing projects through studies, extracurricular activities, or personal interests
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a willingness to learn
• Interested in developing a career within digital marketing, e-commerce, or web management
