Job summary

Watchtower Security Solutions is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the German operations team, optimize processes and ensure scalable service delivery. Based in Hilden with regular travel within Germany, you will align with the Country Lead, commercial team, and HQ to translate requirements into priorities and measurable results.

• Willingness to travel regularly within Germany and occasionally visit operational locations.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on risks, irregularities, open cases and recurring obligations.
• Handle serious operational customer escalations.
• Collaborate with other divisions to share best practices and drive ISO certifications.

Watchtower Security Solutions protects construction sites, commercial properties and other temporarily vulnerable locations using mobile video surveillance and alarm systems.

Monoma Facility

You will lead a team of seven employees covering technical service and support, planning, logistics, operational customer support and back-office coordination.

You will have substantial responsibility for day-to-day operations and the freedom to make decisions within agreed targets. Working closely with the Country Lead, the commercial team, WTS headquarters and Business Control, you will turn operational requirements into clear priorities, measurable results and reliable execution.

Your responsibilities

• Set priorities, distribute workload and manage daily operational activities;
• Conduct one-to-ones and performance discussions, and support recruitment and onboarding;
• Ensure clear communication between office-based and field-based employees;
• Monitor and improve operational processes, team performance and service quality;
• Plan and follow up on inspections, maintenance and technical measures;
• Monitor system availability, technical health, costs and resource usageEnsure complete and accurate documentation in our CRM, ticketing, logistics and operational systems;
• Maintain sufficient system knowledge to support the team and provide backup when required;
• Coordinate stock, capacity and delivery planning with the commercial team;
• Define, monitor and report operational KPIs together with WTS headquarters and Business Control;
• Follow up on risks, irregularities, open cases and recurring obligations;
• Handle serious operational customer escalations;
• Work with other WTS divisions to share best practices, streamline processes and identify synergies;
• Support external audits and the maintenance of certifications such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Job Requirements

• Experience in technical service, field service, logistics or a comparable operational environment;
• Experience coordinating employees, setting priorities and holding people accountable;
• Strong process-management, organizational and problem-solving skills;
• Experience working with KPIs and management reporting;
• Confidence using ERP, CRM, ticketing or case-management systems;
• A bachelor's degree in operations, logistics, business administration or a related field, or equivalent professional experience;
• Very good German and good English;
• Willingness to travel regularly within Germany and occasionally visit operational locations;

Experience in temporary security, equipment rental or another service-driven technical business is an advantage. Experience with external audits or ISO certifications is also helpful.

You do not need to have spent years leading a large operations department. This role is also suitable for someone with strong operational experience who is ready to take the next step into a full leadership position.

Salary and Benefits

• A salary between €55,000 and €65,000 gross per year;
