Job summary

UPS Healthcare in Roermond zoekt een logistiek medewerker die medicijnproducten pakt en klaarmaakt voor internationale verzending. Je werkt met een handscanner, controleert orders en verwerkt deze nauwkeurig voor verzending.

Je krijgt training en begeleiding; er is een tijdelijk contract met uitzicht op vast dienstverband. Arbeidsduur is 32–40 uur per week; salaris begint bij €15,40 bruto per uur en er zijn diverse toeslagen en vakantiegeld. Ruimte voor groei en certiferingen in logistiek.

Qualifications

• Je hebt al wat ervaring in magazijn/logistiek en weet hoe belangrijk nauwkeurig werken is.
• Je werkt graag actief en kunt je focussen als meerdere orders tegelijk moeten worden klaargemaakt.
• Je spreekt en begrijpt basis Engels.

Responsibilities

• Scannen en picken van medische producten met een handscanner.
• Controleren van artikelnummer, aantallen en orderinformatie.
• Verpakken van orders volgens kwaliteits- en gezondheidszorg vereisten.
• Klaarzetten van complete orders voor verzending; laden en lossen van goederen.
• Registreren van magazijnactiviteiten in SAP/WMS; schoon en veilig houden van de werkplek.
• Samenwerken met het team om de dagelijkse planning te halen.
• Nauwkeurigheid is belangrijker dan snelheid bij medische producten.

Wat je gaat doen

From receiving medical products to preparing them for international shipment, you help keep the entire warehouse process moving.Using a handheld scanner, you collect the correct products and check whether the order is complete. You pack each item carefully and make sure it is ready to leave the warehouse safely and on time.Your daily responsibilities include:

• Picking medical products with a handheld scanner;
• Checking product numbers, quantities and order information;
• Packing orders according to healthcare quality requirements;
• Preparing completed orders for shipment;Loading, unloading and moving incoming and outgoing goods;
• Registering warehouse activities in SAP and WMS;
• Keeping your workstation clean, organised and safe;
• Working with your team to complete the daily order schedule.Because you work with medical products, accuracy is more important than speed alone.

You receive clear instructions and practical training to help you perform the work safely and correctly.

Functie-eisen

You already have some warehouse or logistics experience and know how important it is to check your work carefully. You enjoy being active and can stay focused, even when several orders need to be prepared at the same time.

You also:

• Have experience in logistics, warehousing or order picking;
• Speak and understand basic English;
• Are available between 32 and 40 hours per week;
• Can work in either the fixed day shift or the two-shift schedule;
• Are physically able to stand, walk, lift and move goods;
• Are willing to work in temperature-controlled areas between 2°C and 8°C;
• Follow quality and safety instructions accurately;
• Enjoy working with colleagues from different backgrounds;
• Have a reliable and positive approach to your work.

Experience with an EPT, forklift, SAP or WMS is an advantage. You do not need to know every system immediately: you will receive guidance during your onboarding.
