As an warehouse worker, you play an important role in the smooth running of the warehouse in Hoofddorp. You will work full-time, 40 hours per week, in a modern and well-organized environment. Experience is not required: everything you need to know will be taught to you by your colleagues and through clear instructions. Your efforts ensure that customers receive their orders on time and complete. You start your workday with a short team meeting. Here, you discuss the planning and any special points of attention for the day with your colleagues. Then you grab your hand scanner or pick list and start collecting products in the warehouse. You make sure that every order is carefully checked, packed, and placed in the right area for transport. While working, you’ll be physically active: walking a lot, lifting boxes, and sometimes using rolling containers or other tools. There’s always time for a chat or some advice from your colleagues. Safety and accuracy are key, but you’ll always get support. If you have questions or encounter any issues, you can always count on help from your team leader or colleagues.

In addition to order picking, you can also take on other tasks, such as checking inventory, helping with loading and unloading trucks, or keeping the warehouse tidy. You’ll have the opportunity to learn new skills, such as operating internal transport equipment or following internal training. This way, you can grow into positions with more responsibility, such as team leader or logistics coordinator.
