Job summary

GEODIS in Venlo zoekt een Warehouse Team Leader die zijn/haar team van 10–40 medewerkers aanstuurt en operationele processen optimaliseert. Je bewaakt KPI’s, begeleidt in dagelijkse werkzaamheden en draagt bij aan automatiseringsprojecten en continue verbetering.

Je werkt on-site in Venlo, hebt ervaring in logistiek en leidinggeven, en beheerst Nederlands of Engels op B2-niveau. Een fulltime functie met doorgroeimogelijkheden en een marktconform salaris wordt geboden.

Qualifications

• Minstens 2 jaar ervaring als teamleider of supervisor in logistiek.
• Ervaring met leidinggeven en motiveren van werknemers.
• Kennis van magazijnoperaties en KPI's.
• Ervaring met een Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Goede beheersing van Nederlands of Engels (min. B2).
• Sterke communicatieve, organisatorische en probleemoplossende vaardigheden.

Responsibilities

• Leid en coach een team van 10–40 magazijnmedewerkers.
• Coördineer dagelijkse operaties en zorg voor tijdige uitvoering volgens planning.
• Volg KPI’s, identificeer verbeterpunten en onderneem acties.
• Ondersteun automatiseringsprojecten en efficiëntere werkwijzen.
• Zorg voor een veilige en kwaliteitsbewuste werkomgeving.

Wat je gaat doen

As a Warehouse Team Leader at GEODIS in Venlo, you'll be responsible for managing and supporting your team throughout the daily warehouse operation.

You'll make sure everyone knows their responsibilities, work is completed on time and performance targets are met.

You're actively involved on the warehouse floor, supporting employees, solving operational challenges and looking for opportunities to improve efficiency.

You'll also contribute to new developments, including warehouse automation and robotics, helping your team adapt to new processes and technologies.

What will you do?

• Lead your team: Manage, motivate and support 10 to 40 warehouse employees.
• Coordinate daily operations: Make sure warehouse activities run efficiently and according to schedule.
• Monitor KPIs: Track performance, identify improvements and take action when needed.
• Improve processes: Support automation projects and introduce more efficient ways of working.
• Maintain safety and quality: Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with quality standards.

You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to the launch of a new customer operation at GEODIS.

• Gross monthly salary between €3,034 and €3,840.
• Full-time position of 40 hours per week.

Functie-eisen

We're looking for someone who understands warehouse operations and knows how to lead a team effectively.

What do you bring?

• At least 2 years of experience as a team leader or supervisor, preferably in logistics.
• Experience managing and motivating employees.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and KPIs.
• Experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Good command of Dutch or English, minimum B2 level.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
