Job summary

  • Experience with SAP (B1) is a plus.
  • Experience with WMS is a plus.
  • Experience using a pallet truck.
  • Willingness to perform physical work and handle loads.
  • Experience working with global virtual teams.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee warehousing activities.

  • Check outgoing shipments for quantity, quality, and correctness.
  • Ensure transport documents meet mandatory requirements of country regulation.
  • Accurate administrative processing of warehouse activities such as entry and exit of stock.
  • Analyze spares for strategic buying and stock optimization.
  • Maintain Just‑in‑Time stock levels to maximize turnover at lowest cost.
  • Manage and optimize warehouses in Rotterdam, Shanghai and Singapore.
  • Ensure accurate stock records (actual vs ERP).
  • Perform periodic stock counts and optimize warehouse layout.
  • Report statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead‑stock report).

Overview

The Warehouse Support maintains and oversees the warehouse and distribution operations of the Group. Responsibilities include the logistical coordination of spares for our worldwide marine services. The position is entirely on-location; remote work is not possible. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee warehousing activities
  • Receive and process incoming goods
  • Inventorize stock items
  • Order picking and packaging goods with care to prevent damage during transport
  • Check outgoing shipments for quantity, quality, and correctness
  • Ensure transport documents meet mandatory requirements of country regulation
  • Accurate administrative processing of warehouse activities such as entry and exit of stock
  • Analyze spares that give substantial competitive advantage when kept in stock (strategic buying)
  • Maintain Just in Time parts stock levels to maximize turnover at lowest cost
  • Manage and optimize the warehouses in Rotterdam, Shanghai and Singapore
  • Ensure accurate records of stock levels (actual vs ERP)
  • Perform periodic counts of the stock
  • Optimize warehouse layout for efficient and effective space utilisation
  • Report statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead‑stock report)
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse or similar role
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) with knowledge of Dutch preferred
