Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Born, NL is seeking a driven Warehouse Supervisor to lead the inside department and drive KPI achievement. You will monitor progress, coach a small leadership team, and ensure a safe, motivated workplace.

You report to the Operations Manager, manage 2 Assistant Warehouse Supervisors and 40 Operators, and apply LEAN methods such as Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma to optimise processes. Dutch and English fluency required.

Qualifications

• MBO/HBO working and thinking level.
• Preferably leadership experience within logistics.
• Strong social and communication skills.
• Experience with process improvements (LEAN).
• Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor quantitative and qualitative progress of the logistics process toward the customer.
• Lead and develop your team to higher performance levels.
• Determine capacity and staffing based on forecasting and KPIs.
• Analyze results, investigate deviations and resolve them.

YOUR ROLE

For our location in Born, we are looking for an driven Warehouse Supervisor! In this role, you will lead your warehouse team within the inside department. Together, you will ensure that the logistics process runs like a well-oiled machine, achieving the weekly and monthly KPIs! You proactively identify opportunities for improvement within the logistics process and work on them together with your colleagues in line with the LEAN philosophy. Terms such as Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma are familiar to you, and you use these methodologies to further optimize the logistics process. In addition, you will take your team’s performance to the next level and ensure that your team works in a motivated and safe environment.

In this role, you will report to the Operations Manager and directly manage 2 Assistant Warehouse Supervisors and indirectly 40 Warehouse Operators. The atmosphere within the team can best be described as informal, driven, and professional! Together, you will ensure that the customer remains satisfied. You will work flexible day shifts with working hours between 07:00 AM and 09:00 PM. It could be required later to do morning and evening shifts.

In addition, you bring the following knowledge and skills:

• MBO/HBO working and thinking level;

• A gross monthly salary between €2.868,- and €3.822,- and 8% holiday allowance (salary depends on experience and educational background);
